SMB3 Speedrun 11:59 (Part 2)
The first real Super Mario Bros. 3 Speedrun on YouTube! I did this run on a real NES while recording my play on vhs tape. Unlike the other fakes that use emulators and other tricks this is a 100% real SMB3 speedrun. 11:59 is my fastest time as of 9/20/06 (but not my prettiest) I've been practicing this speedrun for months and get better every day. My goal is 11:30 with no major mistakes. I'm really close to this goal and will post it as soon as possible. I just recently mastered getting past the 3 hand levels (its not random!) so nothing is stopping me now.Mistakes that I cant let happen for my ideal run*1-3 - Keep my p-meter filled until the white platform*Lava Ship - Get the Fire Flower*8-1 - Don't waste 10 seconds trying to make a simple jump lol*Bowser's Castle - Bunch of mini mistakes but main thing is killing bowser a few seconds quicker.Everything else went pretty well :)
